Time Machine Aging Simulator from Eucerin

As a sponsor of the BlogHer Conference 2009 held Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25 in Chicago, Eucerin was on hand to educate the blogging community about the importance of incidental sun exposure and give them a glimpse into their skin’s future using Beiersdorf’s state-of-the-art, proprietary “Time Machine” Aging Simulator. This year marked Eucerin’s first appearance at the annual BlogHer Conference, connecting the brand with powerful online influencers in an exciting way.
“We are thrilled to participate in this year’s BlogHer Conference and to bring Eucerin to this great event,” said Nicolas Maurer, Vice President, Marketing at Beiersdorf, Inc. “Today, more and more people are tapping into their online networks for health and beauty tips, and we are pleased to offer these influential community leaders a unique opportunity to learn about the importance of everyday sun protection through Eucerin and to truly see their skin in a new light with our ‘Time Machine’ Aging Simulator.”
Visitors to the Eucerin booth were given a unique look at their appearance by stepping into the “Time Machine” Aging Simulator, where they were able to visualize the aging process and the effects their lifestyles today will have on skin tomorrow. The “Time Machine” Aging Simulator animates the facial aging process, examining intrinsic and extrinsic aging factors on the shape and texture of the face. This projects how your skin will age and allows you to combat early warning signs of skin damage, such as incidental sun exposure.
In addition to receiving a customized view of the aging process, attendees were also educated about ways to help combat the damaging effects of incidental sun exposure and the benefits of using products like Eucerin Everyday Protection Body Lotion SPF 15 and Face Lotion SPF 30. Everyday Protection shields the skin from incidental sun exposure that can increase the risk of developing skin cancer, in addition to causing wrinkles and other signs of premature skin aging. With intensive moisturization and daily UVA/UVB protection, Everyday Protection is recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation as an effective UV sunscreen. A blend of sunscreens, including physical (inorganic) sunscreens microfine zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, provide broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection to help prevent against UV-induced skin damage.
