Pelleve Wrinkle Treatment

Pelleve, a skin tightening system for the nonsurgical treatment of wrinkles, will be seen in 120 million homes across the country this weekend on The Learning Channel’s (TLC) “Beauty Spaces,” a show that brings consumers the latest in beauty innovation and education. Created by the producers of the award-winning show “Designing Spaces,” “Beauty Spaces” interviewed Dr. Michael Stampar to learn how Pelleve can help patients achieve a more youthful appearance with virtually no pain and little downtime.
The show airs nationally on TLC (Saturday at 7:00AM Eastern) and We (Friday at 7:30AM Eastern), as well as in Atlanta, Baltimore, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Tampa this week.
Dr. Michael Stampar, a board-certified facial plastic surgeon from Punta Gorda, Florida, demonstrated the Pelleve Wrinkle Treatment System with patients Linda Hendrick and Mimi Evans.
“Pelleve works by gradually and progressively heating the skin with a warming device to stimulate new collagen production, which results in the appearance of firmer skin,” said Dr. Stampar. “Unlike other skin tightening procedures, Pelleve is virtually painless. Because we’re raising the temperature of the skin gradually instead of suddenly, the patient experiences the feeling of a warm facial massage.”
Stampar explained that immediately after the procedure, patients should expect to see skin that appears firmer and tighter. The overall result is a noticeable improvement in skin quality and appearance with minimal side effects and recovery time.
When asked who may be a candidate for Pelleve, Dr. Stampar indicated that patients should speak to their physicians about whether Pelleve is appropriate for them based on their skin type, age, and what they hope to accomplish by having the procedure.
“The biggest advantage over other skin tightening procedures is that with Pelleve, I can get a successful result every time,” said Dr. Stampar. When asked what he’d like patients to know about the Pelleve Wrinkle Treatment System, Stampar replied, “Getting a Pelleve treatment turns back the clock on the aging process and may help slow the progression of facial wrinkles, folds and loose skin that can lead patients to seek surgery later.”
“We’re excited to bring the next generation of skin-tightening technology to a national audience,” said Tom Harper, Executive Vice President of Globa Marketing for Ellman International, which developed the Pelleve Wrinkle Treatment System. “The opportunity to be featured on We and TLC is a step forward for Pelleve, as consumers have the chance to learn about the procedure and how it may help them achieve their aesthetic goals.”
Pelleve was introduced to the U.S. market earlier this year through dermatologists, plastic surgeons, ENTs and other cosmetic surgery clinics.
