I have problematic skin. After being given a topical steriodcream for a bacterial infection on my neck & face, I was left with permanent scarring. I should have been given a different product, I was to find out aftet numerous visits to different derms. Now, I’m paying a fortune
treatments to address my enlarged pores, acne and scarring. How do I know if I’m receiving the correct treatments. I’ve asked my dermatologist about several & if he has the specific treatments, but he always tells me that he has something just as good or better. Honestly, aftet almost $1,000 worth of treatments I don’t see a big difference. I keep being told it will take several treatments. I think I’m being treated with the Affirm cyrnosure laser. I have a constant problem with clogged pores, enlarged pores and cystic acne. I would like to know what are the best treatments for my skin. I am extremely sensitive to products with Any type of oil contained in them. I even have to watch which hair products I use. Is there a way of checking to make sure the treatment I’m receiving is the right treatment and not just because the dr. tells me so. Please, I’m so disgusted & just want to look & feel my best without being taken for every dime I’ve got because I seem to desperate. This all started because of being given the wrong medication to treat a rash. If u could provide me with some info on how to locate a dr. who specializes in my type of skin and also treatments (along with some informational websites).
