Ladibugs Hair Care

They’re creepy, they’re crawly - and they’re much more than an inconvenience. Ask any mom who has ever had to deal with head lice and she will tell you, they wreak havoc on the household.
Until now, moms have had to rely on harsh, chemical-laden over-the-counter products to get rid of the little buggers, but now there is a new choice. Ladibugs Hair Care - the first 100 percent chemical-free head lice product line - is now available at more than 1,000 Great Clips locations across the country, specialty stores and online at ladibugshaircare.com.
Ladibugs also offers a 24 hour, seven day a week free hotline to serve as a resource for parents dealing with lice. Parents can call 1-855-804-8889 to talk to a lice expert to get all their questions and concerns answered any time of the day or night.
“Families deal with an estimated six to 12 million lice infestations each year in the United States, and before now they have had to rely on caustic, chemical-laden products that leave kids with burning eyes and produce mixed results,” said Lisa Rudquist, co-founder of Ladibugs, Inc. “Parents do not know where to turn when they find a lice infestation, and many times it is after bath or bedtime so we have our team of lice experts available to help parents through it 24-hours a day.”
NATURALLY POWERFUL PRODUCTS
Developed by a team of chemists and hair care professionals, Ladibugs Hair Care products include both lice elimination and prevention solutions ranging from $9 to $22.
The elimination products include Ladibugs Mousse made from a yeast based enzyme, a natural dissolver of nit glue; Ladibugs Mint Serum, a non-toxic pesticide-free serum blended with olive oil and peppermint that soothes the scalp while eliminating the louse; and the Ladibugs Metal Micro-Grooved Comb.
Ladibugs also carries a full line of prevention products safe to use daily for the entire family. Ladibugs Shampoo and Conditioner are made with the highest-quality natural products and essential oils including peppermint oil that lice find offensive. When used daily, the shampoo and conditioner help defend hair from lice infestation.
Ladibugs Mint Spray is a first-of-its-kind lice-fighting tool using a specialized mint formula to help ward off head lice and can be sprayed daily on coats and backpacks to prevent a head lice infestation before it happens.
CREATED BY MOMS FOR MOMS
Lisa Rudquist and Rachel Knutson knew there had to be a better way. When the two Minnesota moms - and registered nurses - went through multiple lice infestations in their own families, they were shocked to find the over-the-counter treatments not only made their kids’ eyes burn and smelled terrible, but they also contained kerosene derivatives. “As a mother and a nurse, reading the ingredients on the only available lice removal products and the harsh chemicals they contained was frightening,” Knutson said. “We knew there had to be a better, safer solution to put on our children’s heads.”
After an impromptu minivan conference in the school parking lot, the women committed to finding a chemical and pesticide-free solution to lice. Less than a year later, the duo launched Ladibugs Hair Care, a full line of chemical-free head lice prevention and elimination products. When combined with the use of the special metal micro-grooved comb these products make the process highly effective and safe for the entire family.
In addition to the full-line of hair care products, Ladibugs, Inc. opened Minnesota’s first onsite lice removal center and the Ladibugs team of specialists has treated more than 4,000 cases with their 24-hour, seven-day guarantee to help families treat and prevent lice infestations.
