Darling Divas Debuts in Santa Rosa Mall
Santa Rosa Mall’s new Darling Divas Nail Salon and Spa for Girls is courting Mary Esther’s 16 and under set for external treatments in an atmosphere intended to promote early self esteem. Owners Janie Patterson and Ernest Sordelet employ experienced, nail, and skin technicians who they train to interact as mentors for their young clients. With its grand opening in May, Darling Divas hopes to establish a reputation as a quality venue for birthday parties and other social events for young girls.
“We are excited to open our doors to the public - stop in and visit us!” encourages Janie Patterson. As she prepares for her shop’s debut, she stresses that Darling Divas will cater to clients with “spa party packages” for a non-traditional children’s event or “just because” outing. All parties will be hosted in the Pink Peppermint Patty Lounge, which gives full credence to its decidedly adorable name with carnation-colored carpet, throw pillows and drapes.
Patterson also attests to high quality control standards to ensure that spa treatments are safe and fun for kids. Spa coordinators only stock products for manicures, pedicures, facials. In an attempt to foster a creative, enjoyable work environment, Patterson encourages her staff to submit ideas for enhancing services using the standards she has set for her spa as a springboard.
Above all other mantras, both Janie and Ernest aim to prioritize a commitment to building self-esteem in young girls. They consider their external services a conduit for calling attention to the many facets of a beautiful soul, mind, and body.
